I have a 2 or 3 year old jelly palm that is in a small pot that I put outside all summer and has been doing great. The summer is about over now and so I prepped the palm to come indoors. I don't want bugs in the house and so I sprayed neem oil on the plant and the soil like I always do to my other palms. The jelly palm has been inside for a week and I noticed that the fronds all seem to have shrunk and dried up, including the crown. What do you think happened. Maybe this palm cannot tolerate neem oil. Maybe I over watered it while it was still outside. I am not sure. It seems dead though. I tugged on the crown and it pulled out. Any advice would be great. That frond laying in the pot was the crown.
