My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Was the border simply floor tile cut to that size or did it come in strips?

    We are thinking of doing the same thing using the mosaic cut to border width.

    Is it difficult to cut the mosaic for the border? We are concerned the contractor will say it's a big deal and not want to do it, or charge an exorbitant up charge.

    What did you find? Thanks!

    The border was sold like that - a liner. The tile installer did not have to cut it on site!

    Lucky you. We can't find anything like that to match the mosaic we're using for the floor. Oh well.....
