Hi. Does anyone have the yellow, or DEEP red, or Purple, epidundrum orchids, and willing to sell or trade some plantlets from them? I think I spelled it right. The 'Reed Orchid'....super easy to grow and usually is in soil and grows in big clumps. My yellow and purple ones got fried by this summers sun, in south Fla. And by the time I moved them, they died, it was to late to regenerate any of the plants. I had bought 2 new hybrid ones at the annual orchid show here in Ft.laud. in January, from a Thailand grower, they were spectacular! soft pink with white lip, and a RED one with a purplish lip.

It must be to hot here for the 'hybrid' ones. They lasted about 3 months, then died after blooming, a BIG let down:(

The 'common 'Epi' grow like weeds here. But I need new ones to start over. I cant find any locally, so i either ask here, or wait till January and see if there are any 'common' Epis. at the orchid show. This time they go into more shade, so they dont FRY! IF I can figure out how to update my trading list here...I will go do it now.

Since it has been this 'Houzz' place, I can barely find my own name! But I do have a small collection of stapelias/huernias/orbeas,some named ones, not just 'Gigantea'. A few VERY rare personal crosses ,that I got from a seller. so, if I cant update my list, that is my MAIN trade list....stapelias and the family. Mostly huernias/orbeas, the easy to grow and easy to flower ones. So....anyone have some babies to trade or to sell? Thank you.
