Rats ! The one thing most frustrating to us Hoya people - Blasted Buds ! ! !

Good to hear about your new cuttings, I always worry about the cold weather you have this time of year. Even though I have been in FL 11 years, I still remember Boston's biting cold winters I lived through for so many years.

You and your hunt for that elusive Motoskei, it reminds me of when I came home from Wally World with a nice EA pot of Linearis, only to find out it was a Rhipsalis : ( So upset. I hope you find one soon.

I would fertilize them, but this is the time of year that the plants start to slow down for the winter.

Gardino's and Joni both sell motoskei, but I'm holding off on buying any plants for right now since money is tight and we just had the first frost of the fall not long ago.

Don't you just hate it when that happens? Gotta love EA and their labeling lol. To be fair, though. Most of the plants I see now are properly labeled. Keyword = most.

Do you have a hundred percent success rate with your cuttings?

I usually do. I tried rooting some last winter, but they didn't take. Then again, they weren't in the greatest light setting, either.

Did I tell you I have motoskei? It's too small right now, but growing like a weed, so I could probably hook you up in a couple months (weather providing).

Tawny, I hope the peduncles on your purpureofusca do set buds. I have two on my verticillata as well, but only the one seems big enough to produce any buds. No, you didn't tell me that you have motoskei. We'll work something out :).
