A gorgeous piece of artwork to add some color and drama to the room. I would also change the pillows and add accessories to the coffee table to tie everything together. The couches look great. :-)

Thank you! Just starting as new wood floors and reface fireplace was just done. This room is what you see when you walk in the front door. Fireplace is slate blue/grey mosaic. Dining room is to the left of foyer and is also open to foyer and large hall area which also opens to an arched opening to kitchen...

and I will add a photo as I want those colors to be mixed into living room....just cannot find anything that brings both rooms together. Rug in dining room has rust, slate blue/cream colors.

I recommend allposter.com all the time. You can get a high quality print from there and have it framed. I got a 1932 Good Housekeeping cover for my 1930s kitchen.

Another option is a large scenic photograph.

Have you considered having the love seats facing each other on either side of the fireplace? The coffee table would be between them and the side tables could be placed at the side of each on the fireplace end. A larger rug of at least 9' x 12' will anchor the space. If you love the smaller rug, layer it under the coffee table at an angle.
That arrangement does two things. It prevents someone from sitting with his or her back to the foyer. It also creates a more natural conversation area than sitting at right angles.
A very large mirror above the mantle will bounce light back into the space and create a less static feel in the room.
If you would enjoy a pop of color, add a few pillows. They aren't expensive and easily changed when you tire of them. Carry the color to the shelves in a few places but don't put it everywhere because it would begin to look contrived and that can ruin the appeal of a room.

I thought of that arrangement myself....but when you walk in the front door you will see the back of the sofa.....Definitely going to add colorful pillow....just looking for the right ones. Also thought of a mirror, except I have a large one in the foyer over a console table and you can see it from this room. this room has only three walls and is open entirely to the front of the house where the picture was taken.

Love this Vangogh as well....but it is too bright...but the colors are good...maybe more muted
