I purchased one then cut off the legs to coffee table height. I love it!

It could maybe be a bedside table or a side table in a living room or something... I've even seen people use tables like this as kitchen counter extensions but this one would probably have to be made a little taller for that to work. Worst case you could give it a new coat of paint on the legs and Craigslist it.

The paint color is fun, you can keep it as is and stain the top a medium walnut and give it 2 coats of satin polyurethane.

I agree; it has perfect patina to it. Looks like something you could put in an entry way or at the bottom of the stairs.
