We had to redo our kitchen backsplash and wall (SEE pic below). Many problems with it: too dark, too thick grout and contractor forgot to seal it before grouting which made the cracks in the brick too pronounced.

So we decided to go simple. Daltile matte arctic white (see second pic) in traditional pattern. We want to get it right this time as the first installation set us back. We are redoing the entire kitchen walls. Experts? What do you think? what size grout? 1/8" or 1/16" black, gray, light gray? Any insight and advice would be so appreciated!
