All I have are wee little sprouts in my fall garden. I think this decent weather is helping, and another round of rain this weekend will help a lot too.

Yup, they will enjoy a good rain. Little sprouts have a way of growing. I never get tired of watching the process. We hope to give a a lot of fresh greens to the Senior feeding program. They really like fresh food.

When did you start your Kale and Chard?

I harvested four 5 gallon buckets of corn today. I'll shuck it and hang it to dry while it rains this weekend. You can see our storage trailer in the pix. There are still about eight 5 gallon buckets left to pick. Lots of good cornbread!

I think you are doing a wonderful thing with your gardens. I was raised with the 3 row rule, one for the hungry, one for the cutters and one for you. I have always gardened with this in mind, However the scale that you do it on is amazing. God bless and keep up the good work.
