I wonder why you have a loveseat with its back to the TV? Why not flip the LS to the other side of the room? The everyone sitting can enjoy the TV, or are you moving the TV? You will need to move the sofa down and use a floor lamp and move the end table and toy bins.

Try putting the now two pictures vertically on the console to the left or right and a lamp in the space that is left over with a colorful orchid close to the pictures. You could have the accent colors in seasonal items that you would be changing throughout the year. I like the idea of green leafy plants that will bring color, life, and air to the space. The photo of the plants on the console table shows what an improvement some plants can make.
