There's a fuzzy coating on most of my palms. The color varies from brownish-whiteish. A firm rubbing with fingers and it kinda flakes off in clumps. Very fuzzy, very light. I washed one of the palms with warm soapy water but once dried there still appeared to be white spots marked on the branches.
