My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

I too have 8 ft ceilings- If I understand, minimum ceiling ht is 10 ft

It WOULD BE HELPFUL if this were mentioned in the design specs. I find this to be a design error. Not everyone has a large scale home, but have a desire for a certain aesthetic. I hope you rethink the design. Very disappointing.
