NOID Cattleya hybrids

A few years ago I inherited a bunch of Catts from a member of our society who moved on to a better placed. None had names, some had numbers. His kids never found the log he kept. He used to say "I know what they are, that's all that matters". I started giving them dates, the day I photograph them to keep them apart when not in bloom. Without flowers or tags, you just have a pile of green leaves with no way of telling one from the other. This one is no called C NOID 10/26/15

And this one shall be known as C NOID 10/24/15. All are somewhat similar yet if you look at the lips there are obvious differences. since there are at least 100,000 Catt hybrids, I'm sure I'll never find their names. I have them all hanging, in one place. The fragrance in midafternoon in their area is overwhelming.

When I inherit plants with no names I make a tag like Catt. (donors name). I add the name of the person I traded with also. But not in the title to add confusion.
