Hi all,

I planted this ginger (red torch) about a month ago, and while its growth stalled as I expected, recently the older leaves have started to yellow. Could this be because the soil is too dry (plant is in part shade in very sandy soil, which I did add organic material too - but it's dryer than I'd like) or some other problem? Nitrogen deficiency? Or is this just normal as the leaves age?
