Living room progress!

Not done yet....but I wanted to share the new additions of the coffee table and end tables.

Next on the list: reframe and hang the picture on the mantle, make a final decision on window treatments, improve the styling of the bookshelves, and figure out some artwork and lighting for these corners:

Really nice! I remember this house when you were looking for lighting for the foyer. Love the wall color! What is it? Also love the light on the stairs landing and the way the light is cast.

It really is a very inviting room. I do love the coffee table and like ruthpets, I'd like to know where you found it. I'm seriously considering changing the coffee table in my LR to something just like that!

tibbrix - Yes, I struggled with that foyer light! I ended up reusing a Rejuvenation hardware light from the previous home. I could probably get something bigger, but it works for now. Living room color is a copy of Benjamin Moore Pashmina. Hallway sconce is from Pottery Barn.

The coffee table is from ebay. I actually had some quality control issues with it (I guess not a big shock, since the table was super cheap...but I felt good about the seller's 100% 5 star feedback). They even sent some new parts, and some of the new parts were worse! So, they gave me a partial credit. Anyways, I can get that info. I remember there was another living room on here that had the same one. Maybe they will chime in....

Thanks for the positive feedback everyone! I am very new to decorating, so that makes me feel great.

Can any of the seating areas reach the coffee table? Since you have end tables for the sofa, can you move the side chairs together with the oval glass table between?

viola - Good eye! I moved the chairs apart since we walk through that area (you can see the pocket doors behind the chairs). I can reach the coffee table, but it is a bit of a stretch. I would probably move them closer if I had company.
