Low Sprinkler pressure...sometimes!

Front yard automatic sprinklers work fine. But, in the backyard I have 2 anti-siphon valves (electric). I now notice both of them have very poor pressure when controlled electrically from the control box. However, when I open the bleeder screw to manually turn on the sprinklers...the pressure is fine. What is going on?
