I would put the backsplash there as well, to tie it all together.

What you do when you put a splash on an isolated cabinet run is basically creating a "hutch" configuration. I would think of it as a large piece of furniture. You could even do a paneled splash to match the cabinetry and maybe add a couple of simple corbels to complete the look. If you want to use the tile, put a wooden trim strip on each end.

Crown molding would also bring the whole look "up".

When I am trying to imagine what something would look like, as in this situation, I try to create a visual model and put it in the proposed space. In this case, I would get a piece of wide paper (like butcher paper, or brown mailing wrap) and hang it up where the backsplash would go, and keep it there for a few days, and see how it feels and looks (imagining it were the actual backsplash). It may not work for everyone, but doing these things have always helped me.

Think about doing a backsplash on the wall behind the stove only. Don't turn the corner on either side and don't put the backsplash on the walls to the right or left of the window. You'll have to do some dry wall repair.
