How to hybridize plums with peaches

Does anybody know of or have hybrid plum peach or how to do it ?

Well let's see... peach has 16 chromosomes and plum has 48.

I don't think peach and plum can ordinarily be crossed, but I have no doubt it is theoretically possible with advanced laboratory techniques.

Most of those Zaiger interspecifics you read about that are a "so-called" cross between this and that are, in reality, more closely related to the apricot family.

"wild plums" (P. americana) can be crossed with peaches, however. Despite it's name, that species is not actually in the plum family.
