Sorry, Scott.....What you have is something in the "Pea" family. Probably someone from that part of the country, or on another forum here can give you a more exact name. I'm not familiar with that particular plant.

Found it! It's a Canavalea Rosea...."beach bean".

Please don't dig up wild orchids, most are already endangered enough as it is. I've done volunteer work at a wildlife refuge, some self centered individual stole one of the only known clumps of a certain species... Just awful.

Also, super illegal.
