I have more hippies then I can easily look after so I have decided to keep only the best at my home.

What have you to say about some thing like this.

Arif, I think it's lovely, but then...I like pink. The bloom is a nice shape and form. I guess I'd have a hard time deciding which ones go and which ones stay. Are you starting with weeding out your least favorite colors and then proceed by letting those with poorer form go? I couldn't do it!! Let us know what you do.

Oh, it is absolutely terrible, send it to me and I will find a place for it … *grin*

Really, however, it is particularly nice and … quite dainty.

I find the white star pattern in the middle of the petals quite charming.

I like the color and the shape of that one. If it was mine I would want to keep it. But then .... I wanna keep them all. I just can't help myself. It must be really hard to decide.

Approximately how many hippies do you have room for at home? This particular one I like and would probably keep at home. Now don't be hurt but the last one you posted I probably wouldn't.☺☺Donna

Kristi, there is hardly any I do not like but I have decided to keep only the best the rest I would be gifting, although I ave solved the space problem at my home by shifting the pots at the roof top and bring them down as the scape emerges.

Donna, the photo can never present the reality. What do you think of this one currently in bloom, not much but I will keep it.

    Dear Arif,

I know that you specifically asked for Donna's opinion, but I can't resist commenting on the distinctive charm of this one. I would definitely keep it.

    Cheers!

It has a very nice soft raspberry color, I like it!

I like it too! It's a "half" double, but I like the color and the veining!

    Stay well!

Yes, I like this one too, the raspberry color is unique and from a distance I'll bet it looks just like a raspberry daffodil!! ☺☺☺Donna

I like it to, it's a beauty, I would keep it.

Going through my files I find I like them all, they all have a different personality and I have few duplicates. This pink may be a sibling of first one but is different,

And these two may not be perfect but are charming to me.

How about the rendom pick below

    or

The only ones to go would be in complete doubles like

You can send the last 2 to me....(haha!). I would give them a good and fine home! Dave would have to fight me for them! I just don't know how you can decide. You know...H. Jewel is an incomplete double and it is beautiful. Your friends (the ones who will get these from you) should appreciate them. I hope that they will join us here too!

They are very much like children, are they not Arif?

Which one of us do you like the best, papa?

Indeed, very hard to choose ...

    PS

I hear k has a devastating smash serve … or was that a backhand ...

I would be grateful for seeds ...

    Beautiful, Arif

Opinions differ according to bias and expertise of the viewer, it would be interesting to record the opinions of general visitor to the garden.

I have employed a handy man and am teaching him ABC of gardening. Yesterday another Amaryllis bloomed off season, he was delighted so I asked him how he rated the four currently in bloom , his choice,

    The best

    No. 2

    3rd

    4th

Lets see what comes out at the end of the season

    Dear Arif and all,

That's what is so great about our blooms; our opinions vary widely so that there are always blooms preferred by different people. That guarantees that there are enough to go around for everyone.

Encourage your new gardener so that he can adopt this habit/hobby too!

    :-)
