Help with flooring transition

I have Brazilian cherry flooring in my living room, dining room and hallway. I am redoing the kitchen floor, and I do not want the same hardwood in the kitchen, mainly beside it's almost impossible to keep clean. The kitchen living room is only somewhat open concept. A doorway connects the rooms. I don't know what to put in so that it compliments the hardwood. I regret putting in the Brazilian cherry, because I'm not a big fan of the red look, but 9 years ago, the choices were much more limited than now. My furniture is neutral and my kitchen is white. Any suggestions?
