Thanks, you guys. Yes, both of them were empty. It's okay though, I was half-expecting them to be duds. It did give me the idea what to do next time though, if I want seeds at all.

This plant was the first to bloom,as early as March and before my other plants started blooming it already had a monopod,not the usual horn things. When it went indoors, the pod was still kind of green. Then it started to dry out, I got bored waiting for it to do something else and I popped it open. Two fluffs.

I'm not actually cognizant of how long the process normally takes.

Pagan when you told me to keep my girl with pods warm, I found a nice place to overwinter her. I stopped watering her completely but she is putting on a few new leaves (she is the one on the right). I hope this means that her pods will be full of viable seed! Outside of my room where all of the heat escapes from my tent it gathers in the high areas of my vaulted ceilings. I know they are looking a bit ragged. They haven't had a drink of water in a month. However they are definitely warm in this location.

Thanks for the update, Tracy. Did you hand pollinate the tree, or did they occur naturally? I'm hoping I get some seeds sometime.

These were naturally pollinated.

Tracy, that is very cool. Are you going to sow them? I'm just using mine for decor lol

Pagan, I do plan on sowing them. I will let them dry for a couple days first. I've read that fresh seeds should not be sown immediately. Hope you don't mind me tagging along on your thread, since you started such a great topic. :)

P. S. I just wanted to add that this plant is semi-dormant. I have really had to fight the urge to give her a drink, her leaves look so pathetic!

I think that's what happened to my plant too. It went dormant as soon as I sequestered it inside and the seed pod got the memo, probably on a Friday then rushed its shutdown over the weekend lol It skipped a few steps--you know, the seed-growing part.
