If not pathogenic, oedema. W/o a microscope, may not be possible to decide.

The yellow halo surrounding the spot is very often indication that there are fungal forces at play, but doesn't necessarily mean your plant is in danger - fungi regularly take up residence in plant tissues that have been compromised by factors that initially weren't fungal in nature. Just to be on the safe side, I'd cut the leaf off entirely or cut across venation so you're removing all the affected tissues and dispose of the remains. Avoid misting, which can provide the moist incubation period that awakens fungal spores that already exist on the plant.

I am just getting back into houseplants, as my youngest is gone to college and no more outdoor gardening, altho in NE Penn it's been quite nice, but anyway, I have brought in many house plants from different stores. It's silly bc one plant, I'll see lil web, oh spider mites, then like this one, ugh wth is that? :) thanks again. Gotta go, I have surgery to perform ;)
