Mine does. I am in zone 8b and unless a rabbit nips some of it off, I see the foliage all year.

Same here, in Zone 8 of North Texas, and it's green for me all year long. Love it in the winter when everything else is so drab (though I do have monkey grass (mondo) so that's green too.

But knowing that it's a one of my favorite flower plants, surviving through winter, makes it more interesting. After a few seasons, you should get more bulbs growing together and it will look really nice.
