Mangrove is a common name for plants that grow in tidal areas and have some tolerance of saline conditions. There's hundreds of different species in many different and unrelated genera. Much would depend on which species you have. I doubt there'd be many that would grow from cuttings but some of those that naturally produce aerial roots might be okay.
