We just had the carpet pulled up off the step and the stain on them is more brown and the wood floor of the living room where the steps are is more of a auburn stain. Can I get away with this? The door trim and bench next to the steps is also brown. I was not worried before with the carpet on the steps didn't seem so noticeable but is sure is now. Thanks for any advice
