I can not. I photograph homes for architects, interior designers, kitchen designers, builders and magazines.

I'd like to know as well. Since the photographer does not know I wonder if others would hazzard their best guesss. I think it is between 24 - 30 inches wide and leaning toward the 24 based on the blender size on the left. What is your opinion? I am planning a butler pantry - this would give me more room (right now I am planning two sections with about twice this amount of space between the shelving units.

The width of the exposed floor across the back may be 24 to 30", but I suspect that the room is likely at least 48" wide.

I was not clear - I was referencing the width of the floor as well. Thanks

We removed everything out of the pantry to put down the looks like wood ceramic tile. THIS IS EXACTLY HOW BIG MY PANTRY IS AND EXACTLY HOW I WANT IT TO LOOK.

I would really love to know the width of this pantry too. I have a space I want to make into a walk in pantry but the kitchen guy is telling me it will be too narrow. I \want to have shallow shelves mostly like the can shelves.

i really love this pantry. what is the dimensions?
I'd guess it is approx. 3.5''x5' the shelves on left are 4" deep, those on right look like 12" deep and it looks to be 7' high.

long narrow pantry with narrow shelves on one side and wider ones on the other

my pantry and laundry room are one, this looks simpler and more efficient than mine

For a woman who cares very much for his excellent kitchen clean and tidy.
The only flaw is being too thin. I do not like this place is too narrow, but overall is excellent.

where do you find the pantry .....

i am also very curious about the dimensions. i am currently doing a complete kitchen remodel. a 3 foot wide walk in pantry is on my floor plan. i worry that this is too narrow (so only 24 inches worth of walking space) leaving 12 inches for shelves and deeper shelves at the back since it is a 10 foot long pantry. The value of this is that i have a lot of appliances to tuck away (clutter hound) and my designer feels i need this. any thoughts on if 2 feet of walking space and a 3 feet wide pantry is viable?

jkwest2014, I would like to know how your pantry turned out

We, too, have a very narrow, long pantry. I'd love toknow how your pantry turned out, as well.

@jkwest I'm designing a similar pantry! Mine is a 3'x5' with 2' of walking space (a 1' deep shelf on the back wall and a 2' shelf on the end of the right side). I've measured it out with masking tape on the floor and it feels like it will enough room, although I might shorten the 1' shelves to 6' after seeing this photo. How did yours turn out? Did you end up using those dimensions?

@maringel, how did your pantry turn out? I have the exact same dimensions that I could use for a pantry...3' x 5.' Please let me know if it's usable or what drawbacks you've encountered. Thanks!

@cath_del, we haven't built yet :) we're still looking for land, but I'll let you know when we do! It has to be enough space though, right?? I do think I'll shorten the back wall shelves to 6-8 inches, running all the way up- giving that extra half foot of walking space might make all the difference!

well, did anybody end up building a pantry with a 24" wide walkway?
