Yes, the warm season plants are blackening. The peas, carrots, brassicas and a box of lettuce I covered survived just fine. I wonder if my Egyptian spinach seeds are ruined, I forgot about them.

24 for a low here at our house and we were there for several hours, because it was 28 at ten o'clock last night when I let the dogs out for last call. We sit in a frost area so I don't know if the airport got that cold. The water in the donkey pen had a layer of ice on top, haven't broke ice in several months. The water for the cats in the barn was frozen solid, it's in a cool whip container. All annuals are mushy and black, so major clean up is in the near future

its sunny but the wind is cold. Still for late November it's nice. I am still not ready for cold, I will probably still be adjusting when the warm weather returns. The Florida keys are looking better and better. Ha

It was 21 at 4 am here in Adair County. The low in the unheated greenhouse was 29. Everything looks good in there.

I'm not sure how cold it got here. It was 48 inside my house though! I know it was 31 degrees at 10 p.m. last night, but I did not see a lot of dead plants this morning.

We were 28 in Stuart. Just enough to take out my nasturtiums, basil and the last of my dahlias. I wanted to cry this morning. A sad goodbye to the season.

We were 23 at our Mesonet station, 24 at our side porch thermometer posted 5' above ground, and 22 on Chris' car thermometer in the driveway at 5 am when he left for work. We stayed below freezing for at least 11 hours. The greenhouse must have stayed warm enough because the plants inside it look fine.
