i'm with patricia on the stacked stone, i give it 10 years maximum before its a top dilemma, how do i get rid of this stacked stone. i dunno, even when it was a new idea i thought it looked rather commercial. if it looks good in subway or starbucks it really isnt what i want in my house.

A lighter colored stacked stone with a touch of brown to tie in your ceiling and mantle would be lovely.

Multicolor Rustic Slate Stacked Wall Stone

A large format tile would be more modern.

It is sometimes nice to have the same color family in a contemporary space but really your master bathroom should coordinate more with your master bedroom as it is a private space and you can do something very different if you want.
