The plants are in reasonable condition and are "Savable" Link to some notes provided by the American orchid society is below.

Outside might be a death zone, ideal temperature range say 60 to 90F. Gentle early morning or heavily filtered all day sunlight is fine but be aware that harsh strong sunlight will burn the leaves.

You are heading into winter and I have no idea what it will be like there. Here they are in a heated room.

Go buy a couple of decorative orchid pots. They need holes in the side for air.

The roots will probably branch and make new roots. You have some green roots but whenever you change the conditions drastically, the roots have to grow to work in the new environment. In other words, when you move the plants to bark and a dryer environment, the plant will need to make new roots to work.

This is not the best time of yearto repot but you must do something. I would repot into a bark mix with some sphagnum moss mixed in. Soak the bark overnight so it holds some water. Put the plant in a bright window. Keep them warm.

That's about what you can do now until Spring when the plants will start growing again.

BTW, the plants look very healthy. You could probably cut some holes in those plastic pots and put the plants in the bright window. It would depend on how much root damage the plants have. If the roots are rotted, you want to pull them out of the pots and gently remove the mix and cut any black, mushy roots. Leave the green roots alone.
