I would temporarily move your couch ( sectional?), chair and coffee table away from the window and put the tree there. You might be able to put the chair on the wall where the boxed tree ( ?) is now. Angle it towards the window.

That was my vote too. I like to see the tree lit from outside the window.

The best location for your tree is in front of the windows. Arrange your furniture around the fireplace and edge of room.

I would put the tree in the corner by the sofa...switch larger sofa with the the love seat.

Maybe even put the larger sofa on an angle...

I feel that your hutch is too close to FP. When you paint maybe move it over at least a foot, then move other furniture over too. I realize from looking at your other posts there is an opening on the sofa wall, but you should still have enough room for a walkway.

If your tree is real, which means flammable, I would keep it away from the fireplace as a stray spark would set it on fire. Have you considered putting the tree in the center outside wall of the staircase? The window location another poster suggested is a good one, provided the tree is an adequate distance from the fireplace. I would suggest the corner formed by the wall and the first, left of the four window unit. This should be far enough away from the fireplace. It is nice to be able to share the beauty of the tree with people who pass by and see the lighted tree through your window. I agree with another poster that you float the sofa and love seat in an "L" shape so that people, when seated, can see the tree, the fireplace, and the TV.

I love you paint swatches. The ones by the door make a nice pattern. I obsess over color choices and have to try a bunch too, Your neutral choice will let your decoration shine and the tree looks great in front of windows where you can see it while watching TV or the fire.

I think I'm going to move the intestine the center over a bit an pull the love seat back some. I'll take another after photo after I do this today. After the three comes down I have a chair in mind for next to the tv center to help with that space. Or I could put the rocking chair there?

LOL, do you have autocorrect? Good luck moving the 'intestine'......either way it's going to look great. Post again when the tree is down and we can see if a rocker works next to the TV.
