Rose seeds need a freezing period before they can start growing When growers do their crosses they plant thousands of seeds to get one rose!

i have put all the seeds in a wet cotton in a sealed bag, and then in a refrigerator for about 2 months, almost 15 days has been passed and lets see what happens..

Those seeds are a total lie. You won't get roses that look like that, if in fact you get roses at all.

Roses like those in that picture, do not exist. The rose was airbrushed.

The only time seeds are being used is when the first cross was made. The seeds are planted, and the grower waits until the plants bloom. Then he starts pulling out roses he doesn't want. Out of a bed of 100, there may be two plants left. It takes 10 years to bring a rose on the market.

Roses are grown from seed only to get the plant started. If you plant Roma tomato seeds, that is what you will get. But rose seeds are different. If you had a seed pod from Peace, none of the seeds will be Peace. Does this make since? If you want to start a known plant use a cutting.

I would have to look through some old family photos. But it was a bush, that much I do remember, not too big. She had it growing near her bedroom window in a raised bed.

If you can let me know the years, that will help . If it was in the 40's- 50's there were a lot of red roses.
