Should all hardware match?

Don't want everything to match in my new home. All of my bath and sink fixtures are brushed nickel and a lot of my light fixtures have black/iron accents. It's time for me to pick door hardware and I am torn between antique bronze and black iron. Any opinions or professional advice?

I would not do bronze. Black only if it goes with the overall architecture of the home. Personally, I'd stick with the brushed nickel. It will flow better and you can still use iron accents throughout the home.
