Hello, I have tried to find this answer in my Bosch booklet and even emailed a representative and they didn't answer me even after trying to make them understand my question 3 times!

I have a Bosch 5-hob induction cooktop which I love. My question is this - there is a double hob where one circle is small and one is large. When I put a small pot on it, of course just the small area is activated. But when I put a large pot on it, I can't tell if the cooktop automatically senses that I have covered the larger area. There's nothing about this in the manual or online that I can find. I tried to test it by boiling water in a wide skillet that covered that larger hob, but I still can't tell if the larger "ring" is activated. It appears to boil just in the smaller ring at first, but it's hard to tell because soon the whole amount is boiling.

If there is a selection I am supposed to make to tell it to activate the larger hob, I can't find it on the stove or in the manual.
