The circle is built out of brick and mortar and then a lip was plastered on for detail. The plaster is pigmented in order to add color.

    Hi Benjie121

The fire pit is built out of brick and then plastered. A pigment was used to color the plaster.

The inner brickwork (that will come into contact with the fire) can be built out of fire bricks and fire cement can be used to plaster the inside.

I like the concrete bench seating, can color be added to that either with acid stain or stucco ? Looks clean !

Hi Brian, yes, you can use an acid stain - there are a number of acid-based stains available in different colors, giving you lots of options. Stucco is more commonly used for walls and ceilings. We would suggest going with a pigment in the plaster or an acid wash.

Hi. I love this concrete seating and want to ask if this is pure concrete or is this framed by wood and then covered in concrete?
