Need redesign ideas for tiny baths

I have two bathrooms that need remodeling. I cannot add on or move walls in either bathroom. They were originally created out of a hallway in a 1760 brick house. They back up to one another. The first bath I would like to have 2 sinks if possible. I need to keep the tub in the second bath. There is no way to get it out. After baths I have kitchen problems too. I would really appreciate some ideas! Thank you!

How wide is the current countertop in the larger bath? There are, for example, sinks at Ikea that have a large trough sink with two faucets in 36", but I don't know about going smaller than that, and you don't really have room to move anything around. so getting full-width storage is about your best gambit. (If you have more width, you'll have more options, but you might do best with one sink for more drawers, etc.) I'd keep some kind of cabinet over the toilet too. Then a new medicine cabinet/mirror and updated lighting. The shower looks ok once you take the wallpaper out. Of course, you could do all new snazzy tile, a niche on the right side where you won't have to look at your clutter, and a glass door. But you might be better off getting back to this area later, if it's ok now.

The second bath is even more constrained -- you can probably get a corner sink with a vanity for storage underneath, or just go flat on the short wall, right up against the shower, if there's width -- either way you want mirrors better placed over the sink, and probably a new light there too. Will need a floorplan to see if something can be improved elsewhere -- for example, you might want a wall cabinet or a storage tower where that little table is, and a bunch of towel hooks on the back of the door....

I agree with acm that we need to see floor plan, even if they are just simple hand drawn ones. I also see that you have one bathroom done in Pantone's newly announced colors of the year for 2016! :)

I am adding a sketched floor plan. I am not very good at it so my apologies. Hope you can figure it out.

My thoughts for the bath with corner sink are to leave the corner sink but some how design/build a base cabinet and counter around the sink. How do I seamlessly have it butt against the tub? A corner cabinet with drawers/doors in the corner where the wooden table is. Wallpaper in this....

For the second bath, while I am delighted to hear from Carol that the colors are the new Pantone colors, lol, I think I'll go for something else. My color ideas are statuary marble counter top, and the below wallpaper.

I like acm's idea of the trough sink. Definitely need new mirror setup and lighting. I like the below photo, but don't think I have enough space. The counter/wall length is only 4 ft long. Also would like to redo shower, not sure how, and again, thanks acm for the idea of a niche on the right side of shower.

and cabinets directly above a toilet are less than ideal, but probably make the most of that space. ?

You can find double sinks in as small as 48". Another idea is two separate small (18") sinks placed side by side. We looked at those two options and settled for a 36" one sink vanity because we were really forcing the two sink issue.

I've seen some very pretty corner sinks. You can probably fit a standard rectangular sink vanity in the bathtub room if you move the plumbing for the tub to the other side of the tub.

I love to decorate with shower curtains. So easy. For your bathtub room, find a shower curtain that you really love and let that be the starting point.

It's hard to build a vanity under a freestanding sink, but you can probably hang a curtain from it and get a set of shelves or racks to hold stuff under there... Agree that 48" is plenty for a double sink if you really want one -- visit them in a showroom with spouse to find out whether it's really enough elbow room to use together. Am dubious about scale of drawing, since that shower does NOT look four feet wide in photo #2!!

Yes, not very good drawing. lol Shower is not 4 ft . The vanity/wall length is 4ft.
