anyone using a wifi controlled watering system?

Our Rain Dial controller (6 station) needs replacing. I've been looking at just replacing with a new Irritrol RD600 which I believe is the same as our older James Hardie version. But, as I'm reading about controllers, I looked at both the Rain Machine mini-8, and Rachio IRO. I can move the controller indoors no problem. I like the idea of changing the watering schedule remotely since we're up in WA from Apr- Oct. Does anyone have any experience with these wifi units? Work OK with iphone 6? Do they really adjust watering per forecast as advertised?

No idea.

But I have the Irritrol one and I hate it. It's awful. Mine overheats when air temp is above about 107f so it doesn't run as scheduled and I can't override it. Plus, you about need a PhD to operate the thing, it is so complicated. The wifi one you're looking at cannot be worse than the Irritrol one.
