Beth, quite a collection of beautiful A roses. Your America Cl. is looking good. Apricot QE, Artistry and A Whiter Shade of Pale are my favorites. Lynn, the color of your Angel Face is perfect, love it.

I can come up with four A roses.

Beautiful roses everybody! And don't shy away from posting your picture of a rose that someone's already shown. It's fun to see how the rose looks in different situations. We all love seeing roses, even if they might be popular ones that everbody has! The more the merrier!!

Haven't been over to the gallery recently and thought I'd take a peak this morning. Didn't realize it was already time for the alphabet...just doesn't seem like winter with the crazy warm weather we've been having...was in the upper 70's this weekend! Anyway, lovely roses everyone! As always, there are some real beauties that I'm not familiar with...Amalia, Artemis & Apricot Queen Elizabeth are stunning ones that I didn't know existed. Will have to look those up :)

    I only have a few A's:

    Arethusa (china)

    Anna's Promise

    Archduke Charles (china)

    Apricot Drift (landscape shrub)

Everyone has some beautiful A roses! Always enjoy seeing your beautiful roses, Pat, and yours too Sharlene. Both pictures of Artemis are gorgeous, beautiful rose. Also love Abe Darby and Apricot Queen.

Thank you for starting this Beth and I like the idea of only using 2015 pics. This is not a typical look for Abe.Darby.

Loving the beautiful pictures. No A roses here, unfortunately.

    Fantastic pics everyone!

I have no "A" pics but am part of the appreciative audience for your rose displays. : )

So many lovely roses--some of my favorites: the several Abraham Darbys, Alfred Sisley, Annie Davison, Awareness, Amalia, Arethusa, and Apricot Queen. But so many other beauties also!

Actually, I do have an A rose. He was pretty unforgetable this year as he was on his own root and pretty much a baby. Rarely bloomed. Blooms blew in a day and were different shapes at different times of the year. Very much a baby. We shall see how he does next year.

    Is it this time already?

Recently my life has been touched by tragedy and I have been feeling very sad and bewildered as to how humans can be so hateful to one another. It means a lot to come here and find the 'good ole crowd' of friendly names and comments and beautiful roses - gardeners really are the best people. Thank you all for the reminder that the world can be a beautiful place.

And because this is the alphabet thread, here are my As from this year

    A Shropshire Lad

    Acropolis

    Ann Henderson

    and Aschermittwoch

I have bought About Face twice now and have yet to see it live to bloom. I guess it's not meant to be!

    Karen

OMG! Karen I love your ASCHERMITTWOCH! I just got one from RVR a few months ago. I can't wait to see it bloom one day! So sorry for your sadness and tragedy. I hope next yr will be much better!

Thank you Beth. As for my Aschermittwoch - it happens to be from RVR as well. This was it's first season and I was pleasantly surprised by how much it grew and bloomed. It wasn't a huge show or anything, but it bloomed perhaps a dozen or so good solid flowers over the course of the season, and it grew more than 7' to the top of an arch.

Wow, that's encouraging! Can't wait to see mine do that!

So many beautiful 'A's. This is one of my favourites
