The first seems impractical, you'd have to shout to be heard from the chairs on the left to the sofa and no one can use the table in the middle. Seems like all the furniture should be pulled in onto the rug. And I don't get the bench in front of the fireplace, the fireplace should stand on its own as a focal point. I like the layout of the second but not the lack of color - almost looks like photo was taken in black and white. I am not a fan of primarily gray rooms. In the third again the two sofas seem far apart for conversation, and I think it needs a rug as well as more color. But the third would be my favorite of these three. That said, if your clients are happy, that is all that matters!

I would pick the 2nd one. It's the only one that I would want to get comfortable in. The 1st one looks so uncomfortable, ugh and the third needs to bring in a gorgeous rug to make that work!

HI -- One is nice and roomy but kind of dated and old style and I hate wainscoting ... two is my preference but it is a little lifeless and flat and .... three is too matchy matchy and unfinished .

None. I think the decorators need a lot more freedom to make these personal, livable and attractive spaces.

#1 could host a dance competition in the center of the space looks like a reception hall in a wedding venue #2 would be my favortte but i am a contemporary girl and #3 needs a rug for sure and some less matchy tables and more lighting in the form of floor lamps and table lampsand some color

I have always noticed, in rooms photographed for publication, that the furniture is always too spaced out, as if to emphasize room size, and not a livable arrangement. That seems to be the case here. But all that does is distract from the room size, and architecture, and give a feeling that the layout is not right.

I agree with the above commenters. Also, you are not comparing apples with apples. Two, with pops of colour, or three with a coloured rug.

Actually none of them...Don't want to offend anyone but they are missing the cozy factor.

I like number 1 the best, but I'm addicted to old world charm! I'm thinking a wide angle lense is making it look too spread out. The other two look too cold and uninviting as though ready for a photo shoot. Nothing personal about them at all. As they get lived in, I'm sure all will look different as homeowners add their personality.

If I have to choose: #2, but no love here !

I like the warm colors in #1 but the arrangement is cold.#2 has a cozy arrangement but the colors are icy cold. #3 has wonderful architecture, but the wrong furniture has been chosen for it and is badly proportioned for the space and in relation to each other. I'd have to pass on all three. They could use some serious tweaking from Houzzers!

The second one, but it needs some artwork desperately, over the fireplace and over the sofa. Maybe a mirror on the wall to the right of the sofa.

None are my taste. But I like refined rustic personally. If I had to choose it would be three. But only after I put in a big rug and threw on a bunch of pillows to cover up the white leather sofa. Agree with above, lovely rooms, just need to look more lived in.

I like the colors and fabrics of #1. The room has more interest and keeps your eye engaged. I like a room that holds your interest. The other rooms have little that draws me in.

#2 but with a different rug

Each of the rooms has something appealing but none of the rooms make me want to stay. If I had to choose, I would go with #3.

What I find missing in all three is books - which is welcoming, cozy, and gives the rooms soul. #1 furniture too far apart missing lamps; #2 the chairs in front of the fireplace - what's with that? A low bench if you must and again no lamps for the couch. #3 no lamps beside seating, no blinds or drapes on that huge window, and no carpet, no warmth. With no lamps you can only use the rooms in the daytime so you can see other people.

Why is furniture in #1 pushed out against the walls??? Like someone else says, it looks like a waiting room.

Not crazy about any of these but #2 would be my choice.

3rd one, first one is too formal to relax, second one same especially if you have pets/small children. 3rd is great!
