Would love to see the finished kitchen! Also thinking of this as a backsplash with navy island and white perimeter. Thinking a white Ceasarstone with grey vein...

We are doing this tile also. Using it in large open space behind stove as backsplash. Counter top is Perla Venata Quartzite in leather finish (white with bits of carmel veining). We are using the coordinating Crema field tile along opposing wall. Island is white with teak. Wall color is BM Light Pewter and cabinets are BM White Dove. Fingers crossed :) Counter tops installed tomorrow and tile in about two weeks. Good luck!

We are doing this as well with BM simply white cabinets and BM Charlotte Slate island with some rustic wood open shelving here and there. Trying to decide on grout brand/color? What is everyone using? I like the sort of taupe-biscuit from their stock photo, but don't know what it is!

Ok so we installed the Duqessa on one wall as described earlier and the Crema field tile on opposing wall. I think our grout was called Almond and looks very pretty. So here is the good and the bad. The Duquessa is stunning. I think it would have "popped' more with a darker countertop than what I used but it is still beautiful. The bad: The Crema field tile has alot of yellow in it. Until we received the full boxes I had only seen a sample that was whitish/cream. So the field tile does not match my walls which are BM Light Pewter. The walls are a bit gray and fight with the yellowish antique looking field tile. I think I will have to repaint the walls. Also (and I don't mind this personally) but in general these tiles are very rustic. Again, when only seeing one sample it's difficult to see. And it is more noticeable on the field tile then the patterned Duquessa. Very uneven which makes it a little more difficult to set and get straight so just make sure you have a good tile setter. Will attach photos separately because they are on my phone but will do that now.

love all the pics! cwwe could you pull out the brown in the tile and do like a brown grey- revere pewter style (don't know about this with a yellow undertone)? Or go opposite with a light grey blue a la Horizon (which would look awesome with yellow undertone) if you want something super light? Just suggestions. We aren't doing the crema, but I held the duquesa up to our dining room in Revere Pewter and it looked gorgeous. We have Horizon in the from entry and also plays really nicely.

try BM glacier till. That small hint of brown in the "star" of the Duquessa is nearly a match. It is a nice hint pulled from that tile, but should also compliment the opposite yellow-cream tile since they are both warm colors

was it hard to move your outlets forward since those tiles are thick?

We are going to use this and are using Cambria Waterford (dark gray with light grey and a few blue flecks) counters and white cabinets. This will be a backsplash behind the range. Any suggestions for the rest of the backsplash? I have already purchased the Duquesa tile but am worried it may be too busy? I already have black countertops. My plan was to do backsplash and up to ceiling behind hood and around window.

Hi Kimore, did you end up installing with black countertops. I have black countertops with white cabinets and am thinking using the Duquesa up to the ceiling, behind the range hood and around my window, just like you!

Has anyone had any issues with the Duquesa tiles yellowing or burning behind the range? I was told that could happen. I was going to use the Duquesa Catarina Ambra tile behind my range but now I’m a little nervous. I’d love to hear your thoughts... thank you!!

I haven't had any issues. I did have some type of sealer put on behind the stove so that tomato sauce or other things wouldn't stain them.
