Using wallpaper in a bathroom

What precautions, if any, were taken to ensure the wallpaper won't be effected by moisture? Designers repeatedly caution me about using wallpaper in "wet" areas!

    None! We have a fan and require our guests that rent to use during and after showers!


    I have another property and we did a clear vinyl covering over it to protect from moisture.
