Floral you seem to be getting the winter we had last year, as I type this snow is falling in great big flakes, sure different from last year when not so much as a flake hit the ground all winter long here.

You might luck out if you have the same winter we had last year our only real cold snap was the beginning of November for about a week, the rest of the winter was very mild, got my fingers crossed for you. Happy Christmas to you and yours :)

I am running into the same problem. My fava's (Aqua Dulce) are actually blooming now. We will have temperatures down to 28* F this weekend. What is going to happen with the cold. I understand that Aqua Dulce can survive down to 20*F but they are not supposed to bloom until early spring. Yikes.

Maybe give them some fleece protection, yolos? The plants can withstand the cold but the flowers would probably get zapped.
