Thanks, Donna! I'm not sure when they bloomed last. This past Spring? Maybe it was last Winter. I've lost track.

I think I'll have to ease the rocks out first. Hopefully that will loosen them up enough to get out. Will they divide easily? Might I be able to divide them in the glass if they don't fit out together? I'd like to be able to reuse this glass for one of them.

Okay! Got them out without breaking the glass!

They are held together by this black plastic contraption that I think is supposed to keep the bulbs from getting too deep. I'm going to gently try to pry them apart.

Is the red stuff on that one bulb ok? Should I take off all the dried up brown stuff or keep on? Is one way better for the bulbs?

OK. those two guys are definitely attached. Do I need to keep them together? Or can I force them apart?

Good Job!! They look really good and have lots of healthy looking roots! Actually, I think you could just plant them as they are together in one pot. In time I think they will separate naturally or you could very carefully cut down through the bulbs, through the basal plate and then the roots. I think if they were mine though where they are in full growth mode, I would leave them together, just as they are and replant them. If you cut them or tear them apart they might have a wound that would need to be dried before you replanted them or they might rot. I would just put them right back in some soil and leave well enough alone. They should be just fine. Your choice, but I vote to keep them together. Maybe someone else will have a better idea for you. I was hoping to give one away as a gift. Guess not, if it may hurt the bulbs.

Is it ok to leave them like this for a few days? I don't have a larger container yet. The ends of the roots are in water. Should they be further in? Hadn't planned on keeping them together when I started this!

Hi, Once again, if they were mine I wouldn't leave the roots sitting in water even just the tips.. Just wet the roots and then sit them in your vessel and they should stay moist for several days. If it takes a long time for you to locate a pot then just moisten them every few days. and keep them out of the sun until the roots are in some soil. I'm just afraid they will rot in the water.

ditto. I only soak my bulbs for a little bit [20-30 min] right before I plant them. Those bulb really look nice, and I like the joint look.
