Looks like a type of soft bodied scale. Did you wipe other plants off first with that same paper towel?

Wipe the leaves down again with a 50-50 mix of water and rubbing alcohol.

Nope, I use a new paper towel on my plants. I did add some moss, is it possible?

Anything is possible. Not sure I would top dress with moss as most broms like the soil to dry out and are watered in the cup. Where did the moss come from and what type of brom is it?

Sorry for the long delay. I got the moss at Lowe's. And I've been told that my brom is a guzmania. I just remembered this is the second go around with the moss. I took out the moss to re wet it, then I reused it. I didn't notice anything the first time. Now, I see those little suckers all over. Open to any and all advice, suggestion, and idea. So.....
