Crap. I dunno what happened. Somehow this posted twice. I was having trouble getting the pics to upload. I think it must be my new computer. My son got me a new one and loaded another Linux program. He's gonna have to load me up with Windows! Augghhh!!

Ooohhhh--every time I see Dark Desire, my toes start wiggling in delight! Eliza is pretty also.

I also have Easter Basket --I like this pic because it shows the range of colors that can appear on this rose.

    Easter Basket

And here is my wonderful Eden--I just hope it recovers this spring from the cold damage from last (frigid) winter!

    Eden Climber

    Elina

    Elle

Eutin--my reliable stand-by (the red one in the center) that I've grown in every garden I've ever had.

Oops--another maverick snuck in! Kinda pretty however. : )

(Edith Wolford iris--I don't get many chances to show her off. At least she is an "E" ! )

I see you posted more gorgeous roses, Beth. I like Enchanted Evening and Enduring Love --and they seem to fit together well, thematically and colorwise!

Dublinbay, that iris is just gorgeous. Now I have to dig through all my catalogues to see if I can find her down- under.

As for all the E roses, I can see Boxing Day (today) is going to be spent researching on HMF.

I have two, Eglantyne and Electron.

Beth, I just die for Eddy Mitchell. I'm so sad it doesn't seem to be suited to zone 5! Gorgeous. Kate, love your Easter Basket. And Edith Wolford - beautiful! Looks a lot like my Mother Earth iris. Mossy, what a great photo of Electron!

    My offerings are meagre:

Easy Does It (given away to a neighbour this fall - didn't love it enough to justify the real estate it took up)

Elina - I'm cheating a bit as this is from a nearby botanical garden. I love it though!

Huh. Did some sleuthing - Kate, I'm pretty certain my iris that Breck's listed as "Mother Earth" is actually Edith Wolford. That would make the mislabel rate on that particular shipment from them over 80%. And that's if you don't count the mislabels they sent me to replace the mislabels! Sigh. At least it's a beautiful iris!

Karen - Mislabelled to replace mislabelled - had that a couple of times as well but sometimes you luck out and get something you really like:)

Beth, love the colour on Estelle!!

    My E's are

    Eddy Mitchell

Edgar Degas (who insists on hiding his stripes!)

And Esperance (my rooted florist rose)

So many outstanding "E"s--including Edith Wolford. RedWolf--I agree--that is Edith that you have. Don't you just love her! That is one mislabeling I wouldn't object to, but I suggest you avoid Breck in the future, don't you think?

Sara, that English Perfume is so gorgeous. Several of your pastel pink/white photos are just exquisite.

And Karen has another wonderful Dark Night (which I improperly labeled as Dark Desire up above). If I ever find another open spot in my garden, I may seriously consider this one. Degas without stripes is quite attractive, isn't it!

Kate, I do love her! And yeah, I won't be ordering from Breck's again... I've had very bad luck with them. Mostly I like what I've got, but I think I would still prefer to get what I order lol! In Edith's case I lucked out for sure. She's a bloom machine for me, as well as being gorgeous!

Sharlene, I was admiring that very photo of Dark Night on HMF just yesterday! Shows the bitone off beautifully!

    Easy Does it:

I just have one. Emily or Emilia as I call her, after my great grandmother. Not the best picture in the world, but she doesn't bloom very often. She is an early DA rose.

Pat, What a lovely picture of Elle--she is always changing her colors in my garden, but I still have trouble getting the colors true on my camera. That is a lovely arrangement. And your Eutin looks very floriferous, so you must be doing something right--but I agree, it doesn't like shade, regardless of what some sources claim. Easy Going (with dog) is a winner also.

Jim, isn't Earth Song photogenic! Some of my best photos are still of it. Yours is a beauty.
