Figured I would update: We went ahead with the poweredge and the floormate.

we used the Bona Professional in the floormate with the hardwood brush. Came out great. The poweredge is light as a feather and picked up everything.

The newly installed floor was very dirty. We cleaned it once with the floormate using water only and then cleaned it with Bona. Very pleased with the results.

I just finished installing Coretec Plus 7" LVP in Waterfront Oak. The manufacturer's website recommends a neutral ph cleaner and suggests Bona Professional Stone, Tile & Laminate. Not finding it at any of the big box stores around me, I researched "What is a neutral ph cleaner?" and came up with dishwashing soap. Not dishwasher, it must be hand wash liquid dish soap.

I used blue Dawn, and diluted it 3/4 of a Tablespoon to 32 oz. of water in a spray bottle. Misted it lightly over a 3-4 foot section and went over it with my Rubbermaid dry terrycloth mop. Worked awesome, and no streaking or residue. If I can find the Bona cleaner, I will get some to compare, but this soap mixture worked pretty darn well.

For regular cleaning, I dust mop it with a microfiber mop head, and then dustbuster up whatever isn't picked up by the mop.

Ace hardware carries the Bona product.

by any chance do you have a picture of the Coretec Whittier Oak you installed &/or how is it holding up?
