Sunlight for Lucky Bamboo

Should lucky Bamboo be kept on windowsill ? Or am I giving them TOO much direct light?

Mine gets indirect sun and has been thriving for many years now.

How far north you are will factor in also. I live in PA and have one in a southern window on the sill and several more that only get bright indirect light. The one on the sill seams to be doing fine. But it does not get full sun all day either. If the plant is not complaining it is probably OK.

its southern facing basically gets sun all day but of course at this time of season the intense light is much less.

My smallest Lucky Bamboo is in a small bathroom south facing window and is on the side of the window an it only gets direct sun for part of the day and is shaded from afternoon sun. Can you move yours further back or to the side so it gets less direct sun light?
