change curtain with glass, give walls a bright color. its better to move the toillet on the left side of the sink

I would just lighten up the paint and shower curtain. Other than that I think it looks fine...

I agree, put glass in place of shower curtain, change paint color. Also the thing I am draw to the most is the picture over toilet, not being centered on that wall and the shelf in the corner, do you need it, do you use it enough, I have a beautiful basket on the floor that I roll my towels in, i think that may work better, or possibly a shorter shelf.

I also would recommend using a more natural looking bath mat, I had a teak one that was beautiful, look nice sitting out, or just hang this on up after you use it on the back of your door, it will make the space feel bigger, as anyone would try to walk around it normally.

Those tiles looks like faded away, change them and curtain as well !! Glass works well.

I think your tile gives a sort of restful spa feeling, but the paint and all the dark additions are fighting that. Much lighter paint, pick a lighter or brighter accent color for rug et al. Maybe a closed white cupboard for towels, lower than the chair rail.

While a glass shower can be really nice they're quite expensive. If you just changed your shower curtain to a light solid color it would make a world of difference. The one there now is too dark and the pattern is at odds with the tiles. You might consider painting the walls a lighter color too. A very pale gray paint and shower curtain would work well with your tile.

I like the wall color. All I would change is the shower curtain, and maybe the black corner tower.

There are some great suggestions here, certainly brighter paint and a fresh bath mat are quick and easy. Obviously a glass door will be more expensive than a curtain and because the room is narrow, a sliding one, rather than a swinging door, will be easier to deal with. When you consider a door please know that the mounting systems vary, tracks can be tricky...if you sit on the edge of the tub for example or if tall people are using it the top rail can be a head-whack hazard. Make sure you understand the type hardware as well as glass and style.

The wall color "matches" the tile but in my opinion it grabs the attention while the tile should really be the star. Going lighter with the walls will emphasize the tile. Also lighten the rug.

The Thin trim on the top of the wall tile accentuates the long narrow shape of the room..think of painting it to match the wall if it is paintable...or add a wider strip of trim and also match the paint on that ...the suggestions for more monochromatic pale earth tones is good and will visually expand the space..gray or golden beige would be good..add to the decor with natural bamboo elements(waste basket.. Wall suggestions above...minimal Asian prints) shower curtain could be a little more interesting...maybe a pale understated print or stripe

Hi djessie1! I agree with adding glass instead of a curtain. I would also add some accessories to the open storage unit. Some light glass or glossy ceramic pieces would be nice to add a lighter touch to the space.

the bookcase should be much lighter, the wall color does not feel right, maybe if you use a lighter shade of the blue of the the shower curtain on the wall and the same shade of blue for the rug.

Replace the shower curtain with glass, if you can afford it, or a much lighter color curtain. The floor and wall tile are fine, but the wall color is fighting them, so go with a lighter shade of beige or off-white. The black unit in the corner should be replaced, either with the basket idea already mentioned or a low open shelf unit on the side wall next to the vanity. The toilet could be moved next to the vanity but that would be very expensive and probably not worth it. I actually like it where it is, and I like the artwork centered over the toilet as well.

Replace the tiling on your floor and remove the tile on the walls. Replace your curtain with a glass door.

I would eliminate the dark piece in the corner. Because I much prefer shower curtains to glass enclosures, I would replace dark curtain with a white curtain. I would get a large piece of colorful art and center it on the wall behind the toilet. I would also put the trash receptacle out of sight and/or get a trash can with a lid. I think your wall color looks fine.

Classic Home, you are basically advising a gut job! I agree with others that a plain white shower curtain and lighter paint is all that is needed. You might want to paint your shelving unit white and add a piece of coloured pottery (turquoise?_ You have a classic room that already looks nice and will just get better with minimal changes.
