Yesterday, the petals were very much "star"-like (ie, H. Terracotta Star), but today petals seem thinner and are getting curvy. If not an exact match, it's very close. I believe it's true. Amazing!!

I predict that by the time the stigmas curve upward the shape will be much curvier.

I agree Blanca! I probably didn't observe my collection of 20+ bulbs as carefully 8 years ago (hahahaha!!! 20 bulbs!! hahahaha) I have seen the shape of this bulb change quite a bit in the past day and I agree with you that it will continue to get more shapely.

Here's mine. I'm pleased, I like it better than my Magic Green this year anyway. I'm also pleased that the color is as intense as it is in the center, I thought it would be much paler.

Also, my Double Delicious bloomed for the first time and I love it! It's a nice fragrant double. Always hard to capture red with my little camera but this is the best that I could do. But this is worth having even for those of you aren't totally In love with red!☺☺☺

This is mine. I agree with Donna I like it better than magic green. Mine was very pale and so was my graffiti. Maybe next year they will look better. That double red is pretty.

Ooh, I like yours Louana, it has a more color that goes out to the end of the petals! I think next year when they are rooted they will all do better but I'm happy with my blooms on a rootless bulb.

Last year my Magic Green had more raspberry in it, this year it's just pale. And again, it on a rootless bulb.

It's funny how the colors vary. I'm on my 3rd scape of a new Exotic Star and these last two flowers are extremely dark compared to the first four. Anyway, what ever color Exotic Star wants to be I love it. Donna☺☺
