You've got a good start on your baby fig plants. I would take gallon containers and plant in those with a fast draining potting soil. Perhaps a mix of potting soil mixed with large perlite granules (not the small type as it doesn't drain well), and handfuls of pine bark mulch. Locally, I have bought an orchid type of potting mix which has the pine bark and large perlite with charcoal. I've used it mixed with some soil, although it wouldn't be as economical as mixing all yourself.

After potting, the plants could be kept under a grow light or near a sunny window until they can be moved outside. After the weather warms, keep out of strong sunlight until the trees are larger. Partial shade is best, and only water about once a month as figs can't tolerate wet soil. I use a light mix of fish fertilizer, as they seem to like that. After they do well in the pots, they could be planted in ground if you choose.
