T. Arum Leaf Tips Turning Brown?

I have had a titan arum seedling for around 8 months now, and I believe its current petiole has been growing for well over a year straight. The past few months it's had a problem with the tips of its leaves turning brown, but for a while it stopped. Right now, a couple of its leaves are turning brown more rapidly. It lives indoors, under a window so it gets lots of sun. But now that its winter and I live in the midwest, I'm afraid that the cold has something to do with it, since it's near a window?

Has anyone else had any experience with titans losing the tips of their leaves, or quickly turning brown? Is it just wear and tear of an older petiole, or is this any indication that there's damage to the tuber? I don't believe it's going dormant, since some of the leaves aren't turning brown at all.

Thanks for any advice!
